Sense

I dreamed I watched you
as you slept,
a mirage so true,
impression kept.
I saw your chest
swell and condense.
We know we're blessed;
we have that sense.

I listened as your heart
beat out my name
like I am a part
of fiber and vein;
I brushed my fingers
along your body:
goosebumps linger,
but dreams are foggy.

And, oh, how my chapped lips
so begged to be wet,
to meet hands, thighs, and hips,
to know the taste of sweat.
If you'd only turn to me,
open those ocean eyes,
we'd melt as primal synergy
as one among the skies.

Way to Grace

Silence and a starry sky,
cool air on your face,
don't you wish that you could fly
and find you way to grace?
Oxygen and arteries
and words caught in your throat
and all the times that you found me
inside the notes you wrote
amount to lore and fairly tails
and truths too dark to light.
I am each breath that you inhale.
I am your moon at night.

For We Arose

I wish my voice
could hug your shoulders
and turn the noise
to dust.

Let my heart
clear out your path.
This is art
or this is lust.

I warn you this:
I'm always in...
wet lips to kiss,
combust.

So if it's love
your veins require,
look up above
and trust

that in the shadows,
I won't fade.
For we arose
of stardust.
