Holding On

Screaming and shouting,
dealing,
doubting,
I’m drowning in words
with no meaning.
Dreaming in tongues
and lost in the stars,
roaming
where time bends
like truth,
I’m holding on tight
to you.
The present is
within our view,
but out of reach
and I can't breach
the gap between
old love and new.
